Cute gift idea

A little pricey, but a really cute gift idea, especially since you can ship it to them if you don't live close. The tote bag is nice because the bottom is insulated, so would also be good for a trip to the zoo. Little snacks and do dads are fun, but you could put this together on your own for a lot cheaper.

Lunch Care Kit

This is such a unique collection of lunch or picnic type items. It is highly giftable and would be perfect for that person that's always hard to buy for. This is such a thoughtful array of items that have a specific lunch or snack type theme. All the items are high quality and very durable. I especially love the rectangular container with the plastic flatware. It's perfect for those that bring their lunch to work every day and it's also a high quality set. This kit also comes with some edible items as well. There's 2 kinds of crackers and even wet wipes to clean up with after your lunch or snack. What a lovely array of items and I just know that anyone would love to have this kit or give as a gift. The price is great for such a unique, high quality product.

Picnic for 1

This picnic care crate from "The Care Crate Co" is a nice assortment of items. The box I received was very similar to the one that is pictured, but the assortment was slightly different. Opening the box you can see the contents wrapped in tissue and sealed with a sticker which looks nice. Inside the tissue paper I received: - A red fleece blanket that folds/wraps up and seals nicely with velcro - A red bag with a mesh top, 2 carrying handles, and a bottom section that is insulated and closes with a zipper (could fit something like 4-5 cans of soda here, or a few less with some ice packs) - A bottle with a straw - A pack of 10 "Honest" brand cleaning wipes - 1 sleeve of crackers. They appear to be club crackers but aren't in any branded packaging. - 1 package of "just the cheese" toasted cheese - 1 plastic container with 1 set of utensils The items all seem to be nice quality, they're packed with care, nice presentation etc. I guess the only thing that would make it nicer is if it had a 2nd set of utensils or a 2nd glass in it, as it stands it feels like it's a picnic for 1.

Fun, but a Bit Overpriced

I am glad that this box is marketed as a care package because I don't think this is something I would buy for myself - for about the same price, I would go out and buy higher-quality items that I like a little more. To send to someone else, though, it's not as steep of a price because it saves my shopping, packing, and shipping time and money. I was a little disappointed that, instead of Oreos in packaging, I received a random pack of crackers (I am assuming Club, but they are unlabeled and are a little broken). That would be something I would be a little wary to receive as a gift. It is nice that the essentials are covered, though, through a bag, a light blanket (although it is small), a cup, an insect repellant band, stakes, silverware, and wipes. The items advertised definitely look a little nicer than the ones I received, but mine are definitely still usable. I wouldn't be as excited to send this to a loved one as other care packages out there, but that also could be that I am not really a camper. It is nice that they are nicely packaged, though.

Different than what is pictured.

You don't actually exactly get what is pictured. The bag, cup, and blanket are different. And sadly I didn't get the two oreo packets it shows, I got a small thing of club crackers. I mean, that is better for a picnic but I was looking forward to the oreos! Definitely not worth the $51.99 that is currently price point at now. I would say maybe closer to $20? The bag is red with a mesh top instead of the blue plastic anchor one they show in the picture. The blanket is fleece instead of nylon that they show. Fleece is not a very good picnic blanket because it attracts everything. Sand will get stuck in it, if it is at the beach. If it is in a field, if there is any stickers they will attach to it. This fleece blanket would be a good car blanket to keep the kids warm in the car but not a picnic blanket. The cup is plastic see through with a straw instead of solid color like shown in the picture. Very different than what it shows. I am not sure it they will update the picture in the future. But as of now, it doesn't match and is disappointing when you don't get what is advertised. The only thing that seems the same is the insect repelling band, the honest wipes and the green utensil container with the fork spoon and knife. Also, this seems like a lonely picnic of one with the one insect repelling band and one thing of utensils. You would think they would put two of both at the price of $51.99 and a picnic is usually for more than one person. I guess only one of us will be repelled away from the insects.
